Story of Heer

Heer wakes up into a hospital room after failed attempt at suicide. She is angry and frustrated at her family for saving her and not acknowledging the real reason why she did not want to live in the first place. On way home she meets a young man named Mihir who shows her her past self. But she isn't ready to connect with new or old people. Nevertheless, she decides to go to her therapist and look for ways to get through life once again but there comes unexpected arrival at her door one day that starts a forbidden romance. This gives her reason to live and wake up every day but guilt is prominent. When a life-threatening disease threatens her smooth sailing life, she is pushed to take life one day at a time and look at it from the perspective of an admirer who search for reasons to buy a painting. This book gives the insight into the struggles of a woman with C-PTSD and depression and everything that lead the 'not so perfect' life she builds for herself after surviving suicide.
