ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Ajay. I'm 34 and a stay-at-home mum and a writer. Last year was particularly hard on me mentally and instead of giving up on life, I picked up my phone and started writing. I've always had a love for it, but life got really busy. It took me about 6 months to create "Love You Always" but it literally saved my life. The fantasy of what I was writing was far better then the reality I was "living". (I'm feeling much better now, but I still have my bad days.) I became so invested in my characters Bailee and Benjamin I would literally laugh and cry while creating their journey. I felt their emotions through my writing and nothing gives me greater joy than watching someone else get caught up in the emotion of my book. My book is published and book 2 is also available for preorder. I thought book one was a roller-coaster but book 2 is making me just as giddy. Share your work with me also. I love supporting Indie authors. I believe we need to support each other as much as we can. I review all books I read in hopes others do the same for me. I give honest reviews only and would never influence anyone's review of my work. If you ever just need to chat with a complete stranger, never hesitate to reach out. I may not have the right answers but I will listen. The best part of being an author for me is when I make a sale. My daughter doesn't like affection and it kills me. But when I started writing she was so proud and now she asks daily if I've made a sale. If I have she gets so excited it brings her to tears and she'll hug me. It's only for a moment but the feeling is indescribable. Introduce yourselves, I'd like to get to know you. Check out my author page. I follow back on all socials. A.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I'm a 34 year old Aussie, Stay-at-home mum. My house is chaotic with 3 kids on the spectrum, a German Shepherd who thinks he's a baby and a cat that believes we've been put on this earth to serve her and only her.

When and why did you start writing books?

I've always loved writing but life got busy and I gave it up until 2022. I was struggling with mental health issues and writing literally saved my life and so became my debut novel "Love You Always"

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

My children require a lot of care and attention, writing allows me to be there for them.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Love You Always. I owe my life to Benjamin and Bailee. While it's fiction some events lonely reflect on events in my life.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

Love You Always. I laughed and cried while writing it. I felt their joy and boy did I feel their pain.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I love E. L. James but not for the reasons people think. I love the psychology behind Christians character.

What book are you reading right now?

Right now I'm focusing on getting book 2 in the Always series. Currently in my kindle I have a book waiting for me called "With Every Breath" by Peter Scholes.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Everywhere. Mostly in dreams or while I'm driving. I love to drive to nowhere, that's when I do my best thinking.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I don't have a lot of spare time so you'll most likely find me reading or writing while listening to music. Music is a great source of inspiration.

Do you have any new books in the works?

I have 3 books on the go at the moment. 4 if you include I Do Always but that is pretty well done.
