Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I'm currently into trail running, I'm running my first 50k in March. I love travel, fitness, music, the outdoors, and a fruity IPA.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started formally writing in 2020 when COVID-19 hit and I had a lot of time on my hands. I sorted through my old journals, and started compiling highlights from my life that were eventually organized into a fluid story that is "Pounding Chest".

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I was an avid reader as a kid, and loved to immerse myself in new worlds. Creativity was a large part of my childhood. I used to make whole fantasy worlds for my neighbors and we would run around playing as characters in the world. I knew eventually I would bring my creativity into my writing.

Who is your favourite author and book?

My favorite author is Patrick Rothfuss, and my favorite book is "Own the Day, Own Your Life" (by Aubrey Marcus).

What book are you reading right now?

"Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

I get inspiration from little things that happen in everyday life. I believe there is inspiration all around us, if we choose to see it. I keep a note on my phone to incorporate everyday moments into my writings. My most recent note is "Incorporate how incredible or adventurous the experience of a foreign toilet can be"

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Exercising the mind through reading and writing. Expressing the body through fitness or dance. Connecting with spirit through meditation and relationships.

Do you have any new books in the works?

I'm working on a historical fiction piece that will be set in the Italian Renaissance.
