Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I'm a bilingual author, who fell in love with English literature since a kid. My family is my big love and my safety net, but they also let me chase my dreams and they're so proud that I'm doing so! Hobbies? Reading, writing (not such a hobby now), walking the dog, entertaining my cat, and eating at restaurants when possible.

When and why did you start writing books?

I had the writing seed long before I knew it. Like most, I wrote short stories in high school and tried my first novel in college, but (long story) I stopped. Characters in my head didn't, though, and they happily resided there until, about a decade ago, I opted to let them loose and into the page, and couldn't stop since then!

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

Because I love writing so much and creating stories. Then at some point, I decided to try my luck out there. I started by attending a wonderful writing seminar where I met my publisher, but I also learned there that I couldn't remain in the shadows. I had to make the leap. And I did.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Titus, the antagonist from Touch of Faete. Though Bev (from an unpublished story) is right up with him. They're both complex characters with a shady past.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

Tough answer. All of them have pushed me to the limit, the ones published and the ones still waiting for their changes. Possibly an epic fantasy that I still have to make it ready for the world.

Who is your favourite author and book?

That is certainly a tough answer! I have so many favorites throughout the years. Jim Butcher is one of my favorite authors, and Shogun by James Clavell one of my favorites.

What book are you reading right now?

Forever is Eternity, by indie and debut author Kathleen R. Cuyler.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Ha! Everywhere. Nowhere. Movies, books, real life, a conversation... all of that and nothing of that :)

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Writing :)

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes! Book 2 in my trilogy is about to launch, and I'm working on Book 3 and last. Also I have several other stories waiting for their turn as well.
