Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I'm an author based out of Oklahoma where I live with my husband and son. I have rescue pets and love to be outside. I write in multiple genres with most falling under the Fantasy and Romance categories. When not working on writing, I blog, host a podcast titled The Chapter Goddess Book Chat, host for Go Indie Now on multiple creative focused shows, freelancer, and craft.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started writing as a kid but didn't start writing a full novel until I was pregnant with my son. This led me to finishing a few manuscripts that took me down the publishing path later. I kept going because I enjoyed sharing my stories and giving others a way to enjoy something I created. I turned to books a lot and still do when life gets challneging.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I made the switch from working in healthcare to writing full time shortly after I had my son. It made life a little easier and also allowed me to have more time with my son. Now I work on my own time with a flexible schedule and I don't think I could ever go back from it.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Right now my favorite character is Ember. She starts her series as a young adult who discovers that her mother had a one night stand with Lucifer and that she's princes of hell. She has many trials and events in the process of discovering herself and learning to control her power before taking her place next to Lucifer for all to see. She saves her pack in the process and stops many villians.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

Blue Flames really stretched me emotionally. I bring many of my characters mental health to light with my writing because taking care of yourself is one of the things I like my readers to take away from my stories, and Ember has a large dose of challenges that make her question her sanity often. She loses loved ones and has responsibilities dropped on her shoulders. Some of my own struggles show through her character and how she finds a way to stay strong.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I don't have a favourite author per se bu I love the Throne Of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

A lot of inspiration comes from the world around me and also from my dreams.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to read, travel, craft, color with my son, get out doors, and journal.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Absolutley. I always have a new project on the line.
