ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born and raised in Bristol, England. I spent my adult life in business, much of that time marketing cars, and eventually owned the largest Saab specialist in the world. Life changes led me to leave Bristol and live halfway up a mountain in the Welsh Valleys; start a six-year English Literature course at Bristol University, and attend creative writing classes in Cardiff. My interest in English literature consequently flourished and I soon won several prizes for my short stories. Over a ten-year period, I worked in the substance abuse charity sector, running book reading groups in various places including Parc Prison in Bridgend. A richly rewarding experience; both personally and as an inspiration for my future writing. So many interesting people entered my life during that period. My first collection, 'Twenty Short Stories - Settling a score," reached No 1 in the Short Stories Best Sellers and is still available, as are the second anthology "Twenty-One (more) Short Stories." 2016 was a busy year with the first of my thriller "Pin-up and Tanner" series - "Hand Over Fist" and a light hearted rom-com "Chasing What's Already Gone" were released out into the world. My third anthology - "Another Twenty-Two Short Stories" in September 2017; and to round the year off the follow-up to "Hand Over Fist," entitled "Hand in Glove" was published at the end of 2017. After a quiet spell I started writing once again and 2021 saw the publication of my fourth anthology "Twenty-Four Short Stories." Writing once again after a two-year break and "Twenty-Six Short Stories" was released in December 2023. In 2024 I will be publishing a thoughtful love story -"Paper Thin Words," and a rom-com thriller - "Quit the Waves." Also hoping to put all my short stories into one anthology, provisionally entitled "120 Short Stories." I live very happily halfway up that mountain in the Welsh Valleys with my wonderful partner, Mari, and our rescue dog Wenna.
