ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ladies and gentlemen, step right up to "Where the Magic Happens" - a literary circus that'll make your bookshelf do backflips! Meet Patti, the ringmaster of this wordy wonderland! She's not just an Executive Producer; she's a word-wrangling wizard, conjuring up an animated TV series based on "ELLIOT FINDS A HOME." It's the tail-wagging tale of a thumbs-up pup and his silent sidekick, proving that you don't need words when you've got opposable digits and a heart of gold! Hold onto your bestseller lists, folks! This Polygon Entertainment superstar has hit the USA TODAY jackpot and Amazon's #1 spot more times than a cat has lives. With 7 dozen books under her belt, she's got more genres than a chameleon has colors. From Urban Fantasy to Horror, she's been spinning yarns longer than your grandma's knitting needles! But wait, there's more! Patti's life is like a celebrity bingo card: She rocked "Romper Room" at 4, probably making the other kids look like amateur rompers. She rubbed elbows with Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Green Jeans. (No word on whether the jeans were actually green.) She shared a train ride and a sandwich with Sidney Poitier. Talk about a meal ticket to stardom! She high-fived President Nixon at the circus. Who knew the circus could get any more political? She went to school with David Copperfield. We assume she didn't disappear during attendance. She roller-skated with pre-famous John Travolta. Grease lightning, indeed! She sipped cocoa with Abe Vigoda. Fish never tasted so sweet! When she's not busy being a literary legend, Patti's juggling roles faster than a circus performer. Teacher, grandma, furparent - she does it all with a smile that could light up a haunted house. Speaking of haunted houses, meet the "Queen of Halloween" herself! This Wiccan High Priestess is stirring up stories spookier than a skeleton's dance moves. Her books are flying off the shelves faster than witches on broomsticks, so follow her on social media or risk missing out on the hocus-pocus! So, come one, come all, to Patti's phantasmagorical world of words! It's more exciting than a roller coaster, more magical than a rabbit in a hat, and more diverse than a box of assorted chocolates. Don't be shy - step into the spotlight and join the literary party where the pages turn themselves and the stories never end!

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I’m Patti, an Executive Producer and author, blessed with a wonderfully eclectic career spanning television to literature. I’ve found joy in creating an animated series based on “ELLIOT FINDS A HOME” and cherish my role as a Wiccan High Priestess, which has earned me the playful nickname "Queen of Halloween." My greatest pleasures, though, come from the simple moments spent with my family, whether that's with my grandchildren or my beloved pets.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started writing many years ago, driven by a desire to share the stories that my varied life experiences seemed to naturally generate. I’ve been fortunate enough to see my work reach USA TODAY bestseller lists and achieve Amazon's #1 spot, which has been both surprising and deeply gratifying.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

From a young age, I found myself in unique situations—from appearing on "Romper Room" at age 4 to meeting wonderful personalities like Sidney Poitier and John Travolta. These experiences not only shaped my view of the world but also my voice as a storyteller. Writing felt like a natural step to share my perspective and stories with others.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Oh, that's a no brainer! Poppy Perriwinkle from MY SOUL TO BAKE culinary series!

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

It's always quite challenging when I start a new project. I'm a multi-genre author, but i find the most difficult are the Historical Romance books, because historical accuracy is a must.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I have many favorites so it's difficult to really pinpoint but I love Diana Gabaldon, Terry Prachette and Jane Bonander

What book are you reading right now?

I'm actually reading, HOW MY NEIGHBOR STOLE CHRISTMAS, by Meghan Quinn and Knight at the Museum, by Bryn Donovan!

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

My inspiration comes from the tapestry of my life—every experience, every encounter feeds into my writing. My background as a Wiccan High Priestess heavily influences my supernatural and Halloween-themed stories, allowing me to explore and intertwine the mystical with the mundane.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Outside of writing, I dedicate much of my time to teaching, being with my family, and engaging in my spiritual practices. Each role offers its own rewards and challenges and helps keep my life balanced and fulfilling.

Do you have any new books in the works?

While I can't divulge too much at the moment, I am always exploring new ideas and crafting stories that I hope will both entertain and resonate deeply with my readers. Stay connected through my social media for the latest updates!
