Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

Outside of writing poetry, I enjoy nature, walking, and I am also a bit of a foodie.

When and why did you start writing books?

My first book was published in 2018. I believe that books are the best record and I wanted my work to be available to other people.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I used to work in theatre, film and animation. While working on projects and getting a better feel for the different aspects of production, I realized the story of a film, series, or play was the most important thing to me. So I decided to focus on writing instead of directing, editing, 3-d modeling etc.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Right now it is the most recent book that was published. 'Nightmares, Dreams, and Hallucinations.' I believe the dreamworld is an underrated and important part of our lives.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

There is a book I am working on right now about anatomy and I have had to do a lot of research online for information about the body, systems and terminology. The time and effort is more demanding than other current or past projects.

Who is your favourite author and book?

My favorite book is 'Treasure Island' by Robert Louis Stephenson. However, my favorite author is a collection of poets for different reasons. In no particular order: Charles Burkowski, Walt Whitman, Lord Byron, and Sylvia Plath.

What book are you reading right now?

I'm reading two: 1.) Capital Volume I by Karl Marx 2.) Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens Re-reading Oliver Twist (and other classics) as an adult. Reading Capital for the first time.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

From the real world, other books, news, and total imagination.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Cooking and eating, eating at restaurants, going for walks, exploring, and listening to music. Music for me is a great ingredient for daydreaming, thinking, and planning.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Currently writing poems for 3 books: 1.) Grace Anatomy - poems that teach people about human anatomy. 2.) Better to be punny than puny - A story created with poems, told through conversations and experiences filled with puns. 3.) Uta - A fantasy story told through poems. A person dies and goes to an undead world, where they are born again as an undead infant.
