Highmage's Plight

Two thousand years from now archaeologist George Bradley discovers an Elvin ruin. Computer staff in hand, he seeks to prove it--only to fall through a ripple in reality.

George finds himself hunted in a world where magic defeated science. Now in a world where only those of elvin descent can do magic, George is mistaken for a mage; even though, humans aren't supposed to be able to do magic. After all, they don't have souls.

The Gateway to Other Worlds has opened. The Lord of Demons rages. His nemesis, the Highmage, desperate to save the Empire has Summoned the impossible – a human mage.
