All At Once

Out of all the elevators in New York City, Jayne gets stuck in his. Lyel is the biggest heartthrob on television, so she knows her life is about to change. It’s love at first sight for her, obviously. For him, it’s destiny.

But he’s got a secret that forces them to part ways too soon, and he breaks Jayne’s heart. She carries on, of course, like the trooper she is, finding relief in her work.

When she’s cast in her first starring role on Broadway, she repurposes her pain. But in truth, every minute off stage is miserable. The only part she can’t play with any tour de force is her own in the world.

By the time opening night arrives, she’s managed to become Tennessee William’s Laura Wingfield and thrills the audience with her performance. As she leaves the theatre, still in the glow of her newfound spotlight, her heart sinks at the sight of Lyel. He’s come to see her, to give her the explanation she deserves.

Jayne must decide if she’s strong enough to turn that slow-burning insta love into happily ever after.
