Raised as a spy by his CIA agent father, Boran was trailing marks and running sources before he could drive a car. Years later, he finds himself an Agency dropout, returning to his birthplace: Phnom Penh, Cambodia. When his best friend, Thomas, asks him to investigate a shady artifact dealer named Jan Botha, he jumps at the chance to use his dangerous skillset.

But his investigation leads him to one conclusion: Jan Botha is no art dealer. When Jan and his mercenaries kidnap Thomas, Boran stays close behind, trailing them to the jungle pyramid temple of Koh Ker.

Jan has found a statue, worth millions–an artifact that explains the mystery of Koh Ker. And he intends to steal it.

With the help of Thomas's beautiful sister, Boran embarks on a thrilling, pulse-pounding adventure through the jungle, the beach resort town of Kampong Som, and the bustling city of Phnom Penh, facing danger at every turn. But their fight to rescue Thomas is just the beginning. As they uncover Jan's sinister plot to steal the artifact and rob their country of its history, they resolve to stop it, no matter the cost. Will they succeed, or will the truth be lost forever?
