‎ The Rosey
View of the World is the story of a woman who was both a prisoner and an escapee
of the twentieth century rules and norms that attempted to shackle the hearts
and dreams of the fairer sex. Through Rosey’s eyes, we see the world that was
and the world still yet to come.

With a
stiff upper lip bred from her proud British heritage, Rosey challenges the
walls built to separate people by race, gender, and even country. And this
tough, independent Britt lass doesn’t just scale the walls, no, as she would
say, she bloody well tears them down. She is our guide as we witness with fresh
and intimate eyes the fight for civil rights, Kennedy’s Camelot, the birth of
Beatlemania, the terror of World War II, and the costly waste to humanity of
the Vietnam War. She had a ringside seat to the events that forever changed the
world.

Rosey
spent her life fighting for others to be respected and through her journey she
found her own self-respect. As she told her soldier husband, the man who broke
her heart, “the point is, husband of mine, I never cheated on you, even though
you and the Army left me alone for all those years. I spent more than half our
marriage being more married to an idea than a man. I think you should say to
me, thank you for your service, isn’t that what some people say to you who
respect what you went through in Vietnam? Well, I went through a lot here at
home, and I think I deserve the same consideration.”
