Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I am an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast. Ever since childhood, I have been interested in the great outdoors. While I have never hiked Mt. Everest, I am adding it to my bucket list. When I am not outdoors, I enjoy reading and photography. There is nothing more satisfying than opening a new book and disappearing into the story, becoming one with the characters.

When and why did you start writing books?

I have been writing since a kid. The way words flow onto the page has always fascinated me. I like taking my thoughts and putting them onto paper, using the power of individual words to create a story.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I believe you should follow your passions. Writing has always been a passion of mine. No matter how many years pass, I have never fallen out of love with writing. Having a career you are passionate about makes all the difference.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Journey To Bethlehem, is my favorite book. This devotional was written during a very dark period of my life. Out of the darkness, I was able to write words of hope and encouragement. When I go back and read what I have written, it encourages me to never give up, no matter how dark the night is.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

Journey To Bethlehem, was the hardest book to write. I was going through a time of depression and hopelessness when I wrote this devotional. It was difficult to encourage others when I was far from encouraging myself. This book caused me to see that no matter how bleak the journey is, I can always overcome and offer hope. Out of my pain, I have found my purpose.

Who is your favourite author and book?

My favorite author and book are Max Lucado and Traveling Light. Max, offers biblical tips on how to live life burden free. Often, we carry around baggage from our past that hinders us from moving into the future. When you apply the biblical tips that Max provides, you can throw off the burdens you have been carrying and live your best life.

What book are you reading right now?

I am reading Fresh Air by Chris Hodges.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Inspiration from my personal life provides me with material for my books. It can be something routine that catches my attention and causes me to begin thinking - "How can I put this into story form?"

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Reading, Hiking, Photography, Art Appreciation, Browsing Antique Stores, Traveling, and enjoying life, one moment at a time.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes. I hope to release a new devotional for Easter 2023 entitled "Back To Life" and a new non-fiction Christian book entitled "Deceived - Apostasy in the Twenty-First Century Church" sometime in late 2023 or early 2024.
