Nike Majekodunmi

Nike Majekodunmi is a successful serial entrepreneur, wife & mother of three, business leader, role model and mentor focused on building sustainable businesses, creating jobs and wealth on the African continent, while educating and empowering young African women on the path to financial independence.

Her entrepreneurial journey started in the baking industry over 15 years ago when she founded Nuts About Cakes Ltd, a bakery specialized in Cakes, Pastries and Bread. The business has scaled and currently employs over 100 people.

She has gone on to found the Bakers Academy which enables other bakers to run sustainable businesses, Mrs. Majek’s, a Snacks on the Go brand, as well as Nike Majek Living an online lifestyle platform that is focused on giving expression to women’s softer side.

Nike is a role model and business mentor, guiding young entrepreneurs in starting up businesses of their own. Her passion for the empowerment of young women drives her training programs and mentoring engagements with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, and Women in Business, Management and Public Service (WIMBIZ) to name a few, as she helps them grow to their full potential.

She also sits on the advisory board of Impact Her, and is an ambassador for Nourishing Africa & the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women.

Nike is a graduate of the University of Reading, UK where she studied Sociology, and also has a postgraduate degree from the University of Nottingham UK in International Relations. She later went on to acquire her business knowledge on the Owner Manager Program at the prestigious Lagos Business School and the Seed Transformation Program from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
