Sue Woods

Sue Woods is a published author, residential realtor, wife, mother, and grandmother who calls St. Louis home. Her youth and younger years were full of obstacles, but Sue found ways to overcome those obstacles and become a strong and confident woman. Raising two children as a single mom wasn't easy, but now that her two daughters are grown, and on their own, she is very proud of them and all they have accomplished. Finding a loving husband at the age of 54 was a blessing. Being a dog lover, Sue and Bill also added their dog Maggie to the family in 2018.

Sue has always had an interest in writing, but it wasn't until 2023, at the age of 61, that she found the courage to write her first short book, Fun Things to do in St. Louis. Continually hearing from others that they see her as a strong, confident, and beautiful woman, Sue appropriately selected the title of her second book: Strong, Confident, and Sexy at 60 & Beyond! This is a self-reflecting book about how she remains strong and confident despite obstacles that get in the way. She also speaks to the myth that a woman has to change how they live life at any "certain" age. We can remain beautiful and even sexy at any age!

Sue's current project is a series of children's books focused on young Superheroes who use their powers for good in the community. She modeled the series after her two grandchildren. The first book of the series is entitled Fire and Ice: The Super Sibling Adventures of Frosty Vision and Tumble Torch. She is working on the 2nd book for the series now, which she hopes to publish in the next several months.

Some of Sue's passions are spending time with family and friends, dancing with her husband, visiting wineries, listening to live music, attending sporting events, and traveling. She always says that life is short. You must get out and enjoy it
