The Lion's Jaws is part of the Low Fantasy Series "Tales of Zersha" and is the Fifth story of the collection.
If you start anywhere you should start with "Boar of Astor".

After a long journey to Oakvale, a lone outpost castle on the border between Astor and Guvan and back to his temporary home in Redwood.
Heinrich Julius Gausser has finally finished his quest and returned to his room at the dusty cheap Redwood Inn.
Despite the trauma that he has witnessed on his journey, he is glad to be back to his mundane boring room.

But questions still plague his mind, the Mountain, the strange dreams he has been having, the rise of Alchemy in Astor and the appearances of strange beasts.

He takes to his bed to sleep off his day's anxieties, awakening from the same tormenting dream to a knock at his room's door.

His troubles do not end here.

This short-story is part of a series known as the Tales of Zersha.
And is set in a country known as Astor one of three main countries on the large island.
